Alberto has also fulfilled multiple senior positions in retail logistics, having project led the opening of 3 distribution centres in 4 years and opening one of the largest warehouse facilities in the UK and EU, a £120m+ project. He was General Manager (Head of Logistics) from March 2019 – October 2020 at B&M Retail where he directed the project management of a 1M+ sqft state of the art retail distribution centre, which generated sufficient warehouse space and manpower capacities to close a legacy site in the North, saving millions of pounds annually. He previously acted as Executive Contract Logistics Director for Allport Cargo Services, and also worked as General Manager of DHL Supply Chain.
A graduate in logistics, Chairman of the UKWA Board and Fellow of the CILT; Mike’s track record is development of warehousing and distribution businesses for P&O, Inchcape and Ocean Excel, both in the UK and on the Continent. Mike joined Delamode (previously Import Services) in July 2005 to lead Client Services and to grow the business.
Mike sold his shareholding in Import Services Ltd to the Xpediator Group PLC in July 2018 and was retained to lead the business, following XPD Group investment to expand Delamode’s Container Port DC in Southampton.
Jane joined Import Services in 1995 in the Client Services team, before moving to help set up a new HR department in 2005 to provide a structured approach to managing and developing our people to deliver its business objectives. Her current role is as Group HR Business Partner for the Xpediator UK Logistics division, providing HR advice and support across 4 different business units. Qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM and is a Chartered member of the CIPD.
Beth joined Import Services in 2015 following her qualifying as a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) in 2014, with top 20 firm Wilkins Kennedy (now known as Azets UK). Beth joined the Finance department at Import Services initially as a Financial Accountant, progressing to Finance Manager and most recently Financial Controller. Her role as Financial Controller oversees the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring effective accounting and compliance, and provides financial information to support the rest of the Senior Leadership Team and the Board.
Stuart has worked in the logistics industry and for over 15 years at Import Services and have been a Manager of people and systems for over 25 years. His current role as General manager sees him working across the whole business with our great teams to deliver on the company strategic plans over the next year and beyond.
Chris joined Delamode International Logistics in 2022, with a focus on improving processes and control within IT and lead a number of key IT projects supporting the strategic direction and plans of the business. Chris’ background is in Software and Delivery management working for a leading Global BPO and InsureTech business.
Lauren joined Delamode International Logistics in 2013 and worked her way through the ranks to now head up our E-commerce division here in Braintree. Laurens experience and focus on strong client relations, together with the flexibility to offer bespoke solutions to our clients, has seen our e-Commerce division grow considerably over recent years. Laurens attention to the groups strategic growth plans has seen her extend her knowledge across other divisions within the group too.
Sharon Braganza is an accomplished Programme Manager with an impressive track record spanning two decades. With a diverse background that includes working with global brands and innovative startups, Sharon has successfully driven transformative change across multiple industries and regions her career journey has taken her through the dynamic landscapes of the Europe, Middle East, Asia, and America. In March 2023, she embarked on an exciting new chapter by joining Delamode with her passion for driving strategic initiatives, fostering innovation, and achieving tangible results, Sharon is committed to delivering meaningful impact and ushering in a new era of growth and excellence.
Natalie joined Import Services in 2003 starting as an Account Manager and within a couple of years progressed to her current position as Client Services Manager. She has re-structured the Client Services team in the last few years to give progression opportunities with her team and worked closely with all areas of the business to improve our service offering to our clients. Her experience is in managing teams to deliver high levels of customer service, having worked in the past for large organisations such as Triumph International and CIBA Vision and she is a qualified Dispensing Optician.
