Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is the charities biggest fundraising event to support people living with cancer.
People all over the UK host their own Coffee Morning and donations raised on the day are made to Macmillan.
This year, our colleagues in Braintree and Southampton took part in the coffee morning, raising £427.63 which will help fund nurses, answer calls on the support line, and so much more.
Stuart Turner, General Manager at Southampton said ‘I am very proud of Paula, Kelly, Jo, and the shift managers who made this a brilliant day over 3 different shifts’. We even had Colin the Caterpillar escape into the warehouse and was eventually found on the racking! Naughty Colin!!
We were seriously impressed with the effort made across both sites and have discovered that we have some extremely talented bakers in our midst – no cakes left at the end of the day!
What a great way to spend time with colleagues across all departments, as well as raise money for such a worthy cause. We would like to thank all our Delamode colleagues for taking part – you are amazing.
