Jane Buckton
Head of People
Jane joined Import Services Ltd in 1995 and held various roles in the business before settling in HR in 2005. Her broad experience and understanding of the business enables a forward-thinking, structured approach to leading and developing our people, aligned with the strategic direction of the business.
Jane is qualified with a Postgraduate Diploma in HRM and is a Chartered member of the CIPD
Chris Dodd
Head of IT
Chris joined Delamode International Logistics in 2022, with a focus on improving processes and control within IT and lead a number of key IT projects supporting the strategic direction and plans of the business. Chris’ background is in Software and Delivery management working for a leading Global BPO and InsureTech business.
Mike Thomas
Client Services Director
A graduate in logistics, Vice Chair of the UKWA Board and Fellow of the CILT; Mike’s track record is development of warehousing and distribution businesses for P&O, Inchcape and Ocean Excel, both in the UK and on the Continent.
Mike subsequently joined Import Services Ltd as a partner director in 2005, to lead Client Services and grow this business.
Following successful expansion of Import Services, Mike sold his shares to the Xpediator Group PLC in 2018, transferring to their divisional leadership team, at Delamode International Logistics.
Progressive investment in the unique Southampton Container Port DC and the creation of a post Brexit logistics hub, in Roosendaal, Holland, have taken place subsequently
