As part of our One Team initiative to establish greater communication and relationships between all staff, departments, Clients and Suppliers, Import Services recently completed Module 6, which involved team building exercises in the New Forest.
The specific aim of module 6 was to put into practice all that staff has learnt from modules 1 – 5, which took place in a classroom environment. Module 6 brought together all office-based departments to encourage the ethos of working together as one team.
Activities included a range of high rope courses, zip wires, climbing walls and giant tree climbing, all designed to test mental and physical boundaries, which can be overcome by working as a team.
Phil Sutton, Import Services Inbound Logistics Manager comments, “The time spent at the New Forest Activity Centre brought many challenges. By bonding together as a team, the challenges were managed well. The activity was run well & with good spirit. The whole experience was very uplifting and brought to life the need for good communication.”
