Import Services is delighted to announce success in being reaccredited for Investor in People status. IIP is the standard for people management and defines what it takes to lead, support and manage people for success.
Import Services has held IIP status since 2007 and seek reaccreditation every three years. IIP is a key part of the Centre of Excellence Training Facility that offers individuals training and professional development in a wide range of skills such as IT, warehouse operations and supply chain management. The programme is also designed to support induction training for all new employees and agency workers, creating a benchmark for best practice.
Dorothy Shirvell, IIP Specialist commented, “I compliment Import Services’ people management strategy and processes and they have a very solid foundation with many examples of excellent practice across the business”.
Roger Loveless, Operations and HR Director at Import Services, said, “I would like to thank the team members who were directly involved in the reaccreditation interviews and to Jane Buckton and Stuart Turner, who led our effort in making sure that our most important assets “our people” are given the support and environment in which they can thrive”.
