Import Services are proud to announce that 34 employees (across multiple sites) are taking part in this years Pedal Paddle Pace (PPP) event, held in Winchester on the 16th July, all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
After last years successful entry and over £1,000 raised, the challenge was laid down for 2017 and the reaction was fantastic with 10 teams of 3 entered and 4 solo competitors.
The PPP Challenge involves a 20km road bike, 5km run and 2km kayak and whilst the challenge helps develop teamwork amongst our employees, its the cause that makes the difference. Most employees are touched in some way by Cancer and as such our entry and the subsequent funds raised, we hope will make a difference in supporting Macmillan Cancer Support in the wonderful work they do.
PPP is a not for profit event run by volunteers. All of the registration fees are donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, and they have successfully raised over £100k under the current committee.
