We are thrilled to announce that Delamode International Logistics has successfully retained its Investors in People (IIP) accreditation following a recent comprehensive business re-assessment. This esteemed recognition, which Southampton has proudly held since 2007 and been reaccredited five times since, has now been extended to our Braintree office for the first time.
Achieving the IIP accreditation is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our leadership team and employees. As highlighted by Investors in People (2017), this achievement requires “genuine commitment from leaders, passionate employees, and everyone focused on the ambitions of the organisation.”
IIP accreditation is based on nine key indicators that distinguish high-performing organisations. These include leading and inspiring people, empowering and involving people, and delivering continuous improvement. To earn this accreditation, Delamode had to meet the high standards set for all nine indicators.
The assessment report highlighted several areas where we excel:
- Confidence in our Leadership team to provide support and make the right decisions.
- A collaborative team environment where ideas and experiences are valued.
- Clear understanding and integration of our company values in daily operations.
- Significant improvements in communication, with an appreciation for openness and honesty.
- Employees feeling listened to and their views considered in decision-making processes.
- Strong management and support across various roles.
While we celebrate these achievements, we acknowledge there is always room for improvement. We will carefully review the constructive feedback provided and strive to enhance our practices further.
