Import Services is proud to announce the nomination of Christine Newman as UKWA Warehouse Manager of the Year.
Christine has been employed by Import Services for almost 18 years, in this time she has progressed from Casual Warehouse Operative to Warehouse Manager at our Nursling site.
Upon hearing the news of her nomination Christine says, “I’m very excited to be nominated as Warehouse Manager of the Year, to be recognised by both Import Services and the UKWA is high praise indeed.
Import Services has provided me with a tremendous amount of opportunities, which I was always determined to take. It is with this in mind that I make sure I present my team members with the same opportunities, so they can also progress.” Christine adds.

The UKWA Annual Lunch & Awards, which will take place on Wednesday 4th July 2018 at The Dorchester hotel in London, is a particular highlight of the UKWA calendar and is the celebration of talent in the logistics and warehousing industry.
This year our Guest of Honour will be the respected author, journalist and broadcaster, Andrew Marr, host of the agenda-setting interview programme ‘The Andrew Marr Show’ and a regular presenter of ‘Start the Week’ on Radio 4.
