Mike Thomas cited Import Services is launching its new Proof of Delivery (POD) feature as part of TRAC, their innovative on-line Client Portal designed to improve the quality and speed of information flow, which is key to the new world of retail logistics
TRAC’s information provides real time visibility of inbound shipments, stock levels, order progress, bookings, distribution and now PODs.
Clients access their TRAC dashboard via a secure pathway on the Import Services home page and can now request a POD trail plus electronic image at the touch of a button. Previously, multiple requests had to be processed for the same information and this was time-consuming hence the move to on-TRAC PODs where we keep a central repository of POD information per order.
Aligned to this is the ability to access any outstanding or closed queries, TRAC is also available to One Team Import Services and because of one location to find the information required, query levels are reducing significantly from all vested parties.
